After incorporating pets into one of our Adult Day Habilitation activities we realized that

the power of pets provided a unique and therapeutic experience for our individuals with developmental disabilities.

It was at that experience the idea of Parker Pets Inc. was born. We wanted to create a place where people with developmental disabilities are valued in the workplace. Parker Pets Inc. is a place that creates a dual experience for the pets we serve and the individuals that participate in the service provided.

PHILOSOPHY

Parker Pets Inc. proudly employs individuals with disabilities as dog walkers and service representatives.

 

Having a job provides a meaningful experience & immeasurable value to people with disabilities. The fundamentally inclusive model of Parker Pets Inc.

Here at Parker’s Pets, we believe that the therapeutic bond between animals and people benefits not only the pets in our care, but those caring for them as well.
